Dr. Yung grew up in Southern California and feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to serve her community.
Dr. Yung received her Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Irvine and her Medical Degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Los Angeles County–USC Medical Center in 2005. After completing her residency, she joined a private practice in Covina, CA. Dr. Yung became Board Certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2007 and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2007, Dr. Yung opened her own private practice in Pasadena where she thoroughly enjoys getting to know each of her patients on a personal level and providing individualized care to each of them.
Dr. Yung has been voted as one of the Top Doctors by other Physicians in multiple years, as well as named one of the Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists by Consumers’ Research Council of America in multiple years. Dr. Yung has special interests in the evaluation and management of uterine fibroids, abnormal vaginal bleeding, Polycystic ovarian syndrome and cancer prevention. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including operative Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. Furthermore, Dr. Yung has a passion for women’s health and strives to educate her patients about healthy living in a practical manner. In her spare time, she enjoys Salsa dancing, hiking, playing the piano, cooking healthy yet tasty dishes, and spending time with her family.
