Dr. Kristie Lin is a board-certified physician who specializes in the surgical and medical treatment of adult and pediatric retinal disorders. She is an expert in the management of age-related macular degeneration, complex retinal detachments, diabetic retionpathy, macular hole, retinal vein occlusions, epiretinal membranes and retinopathy of prematurity. She provides the highest level of care for her patients integrating cutting-edge surgical treatments while treating them with compassion, dignity and respect.
She recieved her medical degree from the highly prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, which has consistently been ranked one of the nation’s top medical schools by U.S. News and World Report. During her ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College, she was chosen to be Chief Resident. Dr. Lin then was awarded the privilege of training in vitreoretinal surgery as a fellow at Harvard Medical School, working with the world-renowned Dr. Tatsuo Hirose and Dr. Arnold Kroll, pioneers of surgical and pediatric retina. Prior to relocating back to her native California, Dr. Lin was an attending physician at Yale-New Haven Hospital where she taught Yale medical students and worked with the Yale ophthalmology residents and fellows.
Dr. Lin has published many peer-reviewed articles and has presented at conferences throughout the nation. Dr. Lin resides in Pasadena and enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
